It is possible to say that these Committees are nine collegiate bodies, integrated by academic pairs of the highest level of the institutions of higher education of the whole country. Its fundamental mission is to evaluate the academic functions and programs that are taught in the educational institutions that request it and to make specific recommendations for its improvement, contained in the evaluation reports, which are delivered to the directors of the institutions.
The Philosophy career arises in 1986, in Tijuana, due to the need to prepare professionals with a solid academic background to carry out teaching and research activities. This degree provides students with fundamental knowledge of the currents, authors and works of the main philosophical schools, in order to develop an analytical and critical rationality to conceptualize and intervene theoretically and discursively in contemporary reality.
